Movement & Strength Testing

Sometimes you need numbers, not guesswork. We measure how you move and how much strength you've got, then track it over time. It's useful for guiding rehab, helping decide when you might be ready to return to sport, and showing you real, measurable progress rather than a vague sense of feeling better.

Movement & Strength Testing

At a glance

Objective measurement

We measure how you move and how strong you are.

Track real progress

See measurable change over time, not guesswork.

Guides return to sport

Helps decide when you are ready to go back.

How well is your body really moving? Our objective movement and strength testing uses advanced technology to measure muscle strength, movement quality, and limb symmetry, giving you clear, objective answers, not guesswork.

Not just for athletes

This service is for everyone. It’s ideal if you’re returning to sport after injury, have an event coming up that you would like to prepare for, recovering from surgery, or simply want to understand how your body is functioning day-to-day. Getting back to running, recovering from a knee replacement, or just want peace of mind that you’re moving well? This is for you.

Reactive or proactive, your choice

Recovering from injury? Testing helps track your progress and confirms you’re ready for the next step.

Staying ahead of injury? Regular testing can spot imbalances and weaknesses before they become a problem, helping you train and move with confidence.

Powered by VALD

We use VALD, a world-leading name in performance and movement testing technology, trusted by elite sports teams, physiotherapy clinics, and rehabilitation centres globally. This means precise, reliable data we can use to track your progress and guide your treatment, with real evidence behind every decision.

What can we test?

  • Single Leg Balance: foot, ankle and lumbopelvic stability and control
  • Squat Test: depth, symmetry, control
  • Countermovement Jump (CMJ): double leg power, force production and limb symmetry
  • Shoulder, hip, knee and ankle isometric strength
  • Grip strength

Why would you test?

Objective testing takes the guesswork out of your recovery or training. Rather than relying on how something feels, we can measure exactly how you’re progressing, tracking strength, balance, and asymmetry over time with real, trackable data.

This means we can make informed adjustments to your training or rehab plan as you go, rather than following a generic timeline. If one side is lagging behind the other, we’ll know exactly where to focus, helping you build targeted strength, reduce imbalances, and lower your risk of re-injury.

Whether you’re working your way back from injury or simply want to train smarter, testing gives us the evidence to guide every step of your progress.
