Despite the name, our massage service at Physioflexx Falkirk is not just for “sports” people. It is a targeted, hands-on treatment designed to relieve deep-seated muscular tension, improve flexibility, and support faster recovery, whether you’re an athlete managing training load, recovering from injury, or simply carrying everyday tightness and stress in your muscles.
Using deep tissue techniques, we work to release tension at its source, improve circulation, and restore normal movement to overworked or restricted muscles. This makes it an effective option both proactively, as part of a regular training or recovery routine, and reactively, to address discomfort before it develops into a more significant problem.
Sports massage is suited to anyone with persistent muscular discomfort, tightness related to training or repetitive activity, or those in the process of rehabilitating an injury. It pairs well with our physiotherapy service, forming part of a broader, personalised treatment plan when needed.
As with all our treatments, we take the time to understand what’s going on before we begin, so the massage is targeted to your specific areas of tension rather than generic, and you’ll always know why we’re treating what we’re treating.
